First stop go to the courthouse and or call your family attorney. they'' take care of the paperwork.

I was thinking more like do I go to the DMV or the SS office first. |

You aren't going to be able to change anything until you get the marriage certificate. Then any oder applies, so you may want to go to the courthouse first.

thanks... my wedding date was June 23, 2007 so I do have my marriage license. But the DMV site and the SS site are both rather confusing. Just looking for some guidance.

DMV is easy...I had this problem and I went on an off day, waited about 10 minutes in Hanover. SS is a problem. I would contact the Philadelphia office, and while you are at it, take care of your passport as well.
