My Dream Wedding Gown ...Cheap

Hi Ladies

Just wanted to give a little recognition to Sullums of olyphant for the wonderfull job they did last month on my wedding gown. not only was the gown a perfect fit but it cost over $200 less than anyone else in NEPA. I searched high and low and tehy were the best price. The lady who waited on me was very nice and the only thing better was the 10 days we just spent in Hawai on our honeymoon. I strongly recommend that before you finaliza a purchase anywhere else you should check and see if Sullumns can get it for less.

Limo etiquette

I booked a limo a year ago for my attendants and my future husband and I. At the time we booked the limo, his parents asked if they could ride, and we mistakenly said yes. Now, his parents think they are riding in the limo with us so we could all be "together." There would be enough room if they came, but I would rather just us and the attendants. And my parents think it is tradition that the parents should not ride in the limo because it is suppose to symoblize us being independent from our parents. So my question is, should the parents ride in the limo with us? I don't know what to tell my future in-laws. I don't want to be rude and say no. What should I do? Please help!

Groves in Lackawanna County

Again, I am having a celebration with my closest family and friends, but I wanted to have a huge non traditional, laid back party of gathering at a grove for my family and friends who couldnt make the cruise. Does anyone know of any reputable groves? What cost comes with a grove? I am NOT looking to go crazy, the cruise was enough.

I had to share this with you all. If you didn't book your photographer yet, I have a recommendation for you and this is the wedding photographers you want: FAHEY PHOTOGRAPHY

I just wanted to share my GREAT experience that I had with my photographers, I was just married on August 25th and could not be happy with my photography decision.

They are a team of two...you receive two photographer to capture all those precious moments on your special day. Your wedding pictures should be on the top of your list as important, they are what you have left over after the wedding is here and gone (and believe me does it go fast), so be sure to invest into it...it will be well worth it!!!!

They were great to work with and their work is unbelievable. They are both easy going but very professional. When they take your photos they will make sure they are as close to perfect as possible. For instance, if someones necklace is flipped or your ring is not facing the right way...they catch it and fix it....they are that good especially when it comes to the details. And I was in your shoes not to long ago I know how important the details are...very!!!

Andy's River Road Diner in Plains is a great value for rehearsal dinners and showers. Very new intimate addition to one of the areas great small town eating spots. Exuding charm and family values...check it out.

I have found a guy who is the jack of all trades in the wedding business. He is great!! His name is Thom Kotch. He is an executive chief at an upscale resort, and has been on TV and in magazines.

He is now offering a variety of services for weddings and parties. He is offering catering and can cook anything on any budget. From specialty, gourmet, to finger foods. He also makes the most beautiful wedding and party cakes I have ever seen! He can do edible favors for your wedding or party. He is also offers cooking classes!! Couples cooking, weekly girls nite out cooking classes, or bachlorette cooking parties, Etc. You can learn the latest techniques using the latest ingredients. Very big trend right now. And last but not least, My favorite that I will be using at my wedding is a guitar synthesizer. It can imitate any instrument. I will be using a violin at my ceremony. But you can have a Cello, harp, steel guitar, etc. without the price. He is in a band that has a great following. Maybe you can even book their band instead of a DJ. His prices are VERY reasonable for all of his talent and accomplishments.He can work with any budget. Mine is a very small budget!!. I will be using him for my ceremony, my wedding cake and catering.
